Guy's Bio

With over 20 years of Agility experience Guy Blancke has been in demand around the world as a seminar leader and personal agility coach.

Along with becoming top at the World Championships with his Belgian Shepherd, Unia, Belgiums National Champion , Winner of the Agility Weltcup, to name a few, and maintaining a full calendar of seminars around the world, Guy coached and competed with the Canadian team at the 2003 FCI World Championships

What makes Guy’s coaching
different from others?

His unique style, his ability to see the lines and the many factors affecting these lines, provides valuable feedback to handlers who want the most efficient line possible. He has been able to modify his coaching for each individual situation – definitely not a “one size fits all” approach.

His use of cutting edge technology in the form of the Dartfish videocoaching software during seminars and online allows him to help handlers even more in seeing every detail of their runs and the factors affecting those runs,as well as their relationship with their dogs , so they can make the right adjustments towards better performance. No need to “just try this” or “maybe that will help.”

Guy’s suggestions, based on extensive experience used in combination with the Dartfish analysis, result in specific and measurable changes in behavior and performance suitable for each level of a team .

Student Seminar feedback

Hi Guy!

I learned so much. Your method is clean, simple, honest and very effective....and so was your delivery of information. It was a pleasure learning from you. Your method works very, very well for my little Chaps . And it will work very well when I start running my Border Collie pup next year. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to learn from you!

I can't begin to tell you how talented this man is. He is a great teacher, with a really wonderful sense of humor. He has an uncanny ability to read dogs, and they respond to him like I have never seen.

Dear Guy,

You took care of it at the seminar very well. A dog is very easy for each pair to know with a  handler, and I appreciates it heartily you give a lecture of sincerity. It was seized with the form, and the dog was supported, and the pleasure which it ran through the course so pleasantly was noticed. The explanation to build a way between the hurdle and the hurdle and to go was very easy to
understand. It applies itself to the practice happily, and I want to continue without forgetting what I have learned.

Gratitude heartily .
Megumi Tsukada (Japan)
